Why Is It âExâ Partner, What Does the Word âExâ Mean?
You constantly hear that is my ex boyfriend or this is my ex wife. What does this word âexâ really mean? Is it to symbolize that this certain person has been cut our or âexâ out of one personâs life? It can be used in so many different ways as well such as; that is my ex husband or that is my ex land lord and even at times that is my ex son-in-law which would mean there would have to be a ex wife in there to.
Where did the term âexâ come from anyway, does anybody know? You can use it like this as well, how do you get your ex back? Who thinks like that anyways, how do you get your ex back? I do that is who, I have thought of how to get my ex back many of times.
I would like to know where the term âexâ came from, is it in the dictionary? When you Google âexâ you get all kinds of stuff, they ex everything these days even cars or houses. That is my ex house what is that, ok back to the point. I want to find out where the term âexâ came from.
The term âexâ means after the fact, that makes sense does it not? You were my boyfriend after the fact or shall I say you are not my boyfriend after the fact. The term âexâ is Latin and who knows when it was made, that is way too far over my head.
So if âexâ means after the fact and I go to Mexico and became a federally then I would be an ex American right? And then if I came back to the states illegally, then I would be a current federally, ex American, and an illegal alien that speaks English. This can get complicated if you think on it long enough!
So when one becomes an ex and they say that is my ex boyfriend or this is my ex girlfriend; what happens if they get back together huh? Think about it, they were together and then they broke up so after the fact, so when they broke up they are âexâ partners then they got back together so after the fact again they are partners. That is the way it is stated so that is the way it has to be I guess, once you are an ex to someone you will always be an ex.
So when someone is thinking, how do I get my ex back? They are asking how they can get there after the fact partner that does not want the other back but if the other did want the other back then they would still be ex partners. I am getting a headache just trying to understand my own concept. But it does not matter it is all just common knowledge, I am analyzer to say the least and I feel that I have analyzed this pretty well.
